Scenario 2.5: The Hopeless Princes - Strategy |
The only chance of getting out of 8:Lisle is to attack Ander from his back while his army heads for 10:Rodale. If you miss this opportunity, you will find it hard to wait for another opportunity.
The war between Blanche and Lyle will start immediately after their alliance is broken. So your best chance is to attack Lyle when both families are at war at one another.
Although AI tends to make Lyle immediately break the alliance with Blanche in Year 1 Jan, there is a small chance that the Lyle family remains allied with the Blanche family throughout year 1. After taking 10:Rodale, Ander will immediately attack 8:Lisle with Pluvius. If this happens, you are done.

Giving up 11:Helmet is probably your best chance. Erin will never stop attacking 11:Hermet unless you manage to ally with him. Despite of the alliance, you will still suffer from persistent attack from Loryn and Geoff of Lankshire when your army is outnumbered. What you should do is to wait for the opportunity to destory Tate.
Tate
Lyle will attack 10:Rodale immediately after the game starts. Though Terian managed to take over 14:Cardyf in the original history (Scenario 3), he failed to capture Skulryk due to the poor timing of the attack. Make sure you won't make the same mistake.

The gameplay can be even more difficult than the Tordin family because prince Francis is old and incapable. You can hardly improve your cities' status. Lenne is likely to be defected by other families so you cannot rely on him. Hubert will start attacking 21:Oldlyn quite soon. You lack magic and fame so you should first ally with Flax and wait for opportunities to expand.
